For the past few weeks I’ve been hearing rumors about some people in Mexico who were building my truck.
I didn’t pay much attention to it and I certainly wasn’t going to say anything about it.
I’d heard the same kind of rumors about Great Britain, and as soon as I got off the plane I showed construction workers a few pictures and they assured me that my pictures were of something they had never seen before.
But the funny thing about Mexico, is something my patent lawyer once said. “You could get a patent in Mexico, but try to find someone who would enforce it.”
Well, my lawyer was not exactly in the loop at the time. That is as far as the US government and the anti-trust laws that they have managed to put on the books. Basically, its triple damages. (Yah gotta wonder why Obama went down there.)
Now the thing I would like to know is: If the Mexicans did manage to build my truck, how many did they build? How much money did they make with the trucks? How much money are the buyers making with the trucks. And last but not least, and it kinna makes me feel like some kind of an asshole but; how much money are the owners of the my trucks saving because of it? Savings would equal profits now wouldn’t it?
Come on folks, that’s all I want to know.
Good day.
