I don’t know who the guy is. I don’t know if I even heard his stuff since I don’t even consider rap music.
I’m not really sure if I heard any of Taylor Swift’s stuff. And I don’t even know if I would have even watched the MTV Music Award show because I realize that it isn’t always about talent as it is with record labels influence which tend to put politics into the whole thing and that’s just what Kanye West doesn’t understand.
Stupid Rule #21 should be upheld when someone such as Taylor Swift is having their day.
Up until now I wasn’t even planning to post anything about Kanye West storming the stage and interrupting Taylor Swift’s winning speech at the MTV Awards, to tell the crowd Beyonce should have won the prize for best female video.
Talor Swift said that his behavior had “rattled” her and “I had to perform live five minutes later, so I had to get myself back to the place where I could
perform.”
Something like this story is I wouldn’t even want to mention him in my Tunes
Column because I would be repeating the jerk’s name, but since President Barack Obama labeled Kanye West a “jackass” I figured that I should give the jackass the Moron of the Day Award too.
Obama said: “I thought it was inappropriate, it’s like she’s getting an award, why are you butting in?”
I think all his apologies don’t mean anything because I’m sure it was the heat he got afterward that brought the disgraceful act to his attention.
Just as Obama questioned, what was he doing up there? I wonder which fool gave him a microphone in the first place.
The question I have is what will land on the cutting room floor when the editor gets a hold of it? If they butcher the whole thing to give it a different flavor, it will just go to show just how political the MTV Music Awards are.
