Nifty do dad found in Linux

September 24, 2009

I was look around in the software programs that where included in the Linux distribution package I have installed. Under “Developer,” I found a KDE program called KLinkStatus. Boy I can’t tell you how handy such a program can be. It works almost like a search engine and scans any web-site you enter into it. KLinkStatus will provide you with a site tree of all the links, internal and external and display which one’s are good or bad.

I’m happy to say, that Synchro-link.com and Iwishyouluck.com turned out to be in good shape, but after moving around MyStupidRules.com so much, it became quite a mess. Even BooksbySunnyside had it’s share of links that didn’t work and KLinkStatus made it quite easy to patch things up there because I could go right to the source of the problem with the information provide by the Linux program.

But to say the least, I have a lot of work ahead of me with just patching up MyStupidRules. I plan on moving a lot of the content to my other web-sites in the process. So if you come to the conclusion that I’m not posting as much as I should be, just remember I’m cleaning house too. (But I have a lot of things in store.)
