I read in the WSJ today that Obama wants companies to let employees put unused vacation or sick leave pay into 401(k)s to encourage savings.
Gee, I don’t know about you but isn’t that the opposite of encouraging people to go out and buy a new car that depreciates 24% the first week they own it?
However many of us would say the better option to help the economy would be to go out and spend it on a vacation, solar panels, or wind-generators.
But he had other agendas, like buy a piece of junk from the screwed up company you just bought into. Yeah, the one who has had a monopoly screwing you over for decades. Sure – Rule Number 51 & 50; pretty insane to say the least.
